Production Dates/Identifying Codes: Packed on May 29, 2000. The packages bear a ''PACKED ON'' date of from ''MAY29'' through ''JUN9'' printed on the product weight sticker and the number ''2888'' appears in the USDA mark of inspection on the label.
Problem/Reason for Recall: The product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
How/When Discovered: A sample collected by FSIS/OFO personnel on June 5, 2000, returned a positive result for Listeria monocytogenes on June 13, 2000.
