Production Dates/Identifying Codes: Packed on May 2, 2000. The code ''05002'' is printed on the packages. The number ''5884'' appears in the USDA mark of inspection on the ''Frankfurters'' and ''17423'' appears in the USDA mark of inspection on the ''Miko Reds.''
Problem/Reason for Recall: The product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
How/When Discovered: A sample collected by FSIS/OFO personnel on May 2, 2000, returned a positive result for Listeria monocytogenes on May 9, 2000.
