Production Dates/Identifying Codes: The products were sliced and packaged on April 25, 2000. ''Sell By Jul 0300'' is stamped on the package labels. The plant's establishment number 2000 is imprinted in the USDA inspection legend on the labels.
Problem/Reason for Recall: Possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
How/When Discovered: The recall is in response to the finding of Listeria monocytogenes by the Food Safety and Inspection Service through its routine microbiological testing program.
