  1. Skinless Cooked Bratwurst/Skinless Cooked Sausage (contains a mix of both products) in 1-pound vacuum packed packages.
  2. Skinless Family Pack Cooked Bratwurst in 3-pound vacuum packed packages.
  3. Skinless Smoked Sausage in 1-pound vacuum packed packages.
  4. Smoked Sausage in 5-pound gas flushed packages.
Production Dates/Identifying Codes: Packed on April 6, 2000. All products have ''Sell By 060500'' printed on the packages. The number ''6838'' appears in the USDA mark of inspection on all products.
Problem/Reason for Recall: The product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
How/When Discovered: A sample collected by FSIS/OFO personnel on April 6, 2000, returned a positive result for Listeria monocytogenes on April 12, 2000.
