Problem/Reason for Recall: Underprocessing.
How/When Discovered: The firm was notified by one of its customers, on January 12, 2000, that a cooked turkey breast in their possession appeared to be under cooked. After an evaluation of the product by the producing firm and a review of plants production records, the firm initiated a recall and notified the Food Safety and Inspection Service on January 14, 2000.
