Issues Regarding Effective Microbiological Testing for E. coli O157:H7 for Small and Very Small Plants - July 29, 2009
This webinar will focus on the development of effective microbiological testing programs for small and very small processing plants. FSIS testing will be discussed as well as testing methods for N60, which meet USDA expectations and guidelines. The discussion will also include (1) how microbiological testing programs fit into an entire food safety system to ensure final product safety; (2) the limitations of microbiological testing; (3) how to interpret test results; and (4) product handling during pending test results.
