The products subject to recall are beef sirloin steaks produced on June 23, 2004 and ground beef products
produced on June 23 and 24, 2004. Each box bears the establishment code "EST. 213D" inside
the USDA mark of inspection.
The products subject to recall include:

Problem/Reason for Recall:
The products may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O157:H7.
How/When Discovered:
The recall was prompted by epidemiological evidence related to four illnesses linked to consumption of a product produced by
this establishment on June 23, 2004. FSIS continues to work with state of Colorado and federal partners on this investigation.
