  • 28 oz. packages of "EMMBER CLASSIC PREMIUM QUALITY DELICATESSEN MEATS 97% FAT FREE Shaved Roast Beef." Each case contains 10 packages of product. The products are stamped with "USE BY/FREEZE BY" dates of July 29, 2004; August 3,2004; and August 4, 2004.
  • Various weight packages of "EMMBER CLASSIC PREMIUM QUALITY DELICATESSEN MEATS 97% FAT FREE Shaved Roast Beef."

Each package bears the code "7892000" and the establishment number "567" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Problem/Reason for Recall:
The product is misbranded because it contains an undeclared allergen (hydrolyzed soy protein).

How/When Discovered:
During a review of product formulations the establishment discovered the product contained an undeclared allergen (hydrolyzed soy protein) and notified FSIS.
