Problem/Reason for Recall:
The product may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
How/When Discovered:
The problem was discovered through routine FSIS microbiological testing. On June 3, 2004, the FSIS Western Laboratory reported a positive result for Listeria monocytogenes.
