Produced May 24, 2004. The products subject to recall are one and two pound packages of "The Old Home Made Brand, MILTON SCRAPPLE." The packages subject to recall have a sell by date of "6 24" and bear the establishment number "EST. 7934" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Problem/Reason for Recall:
The product may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

How/When Discovered:
The problem was discovered through routine FSIS microbiological testing. On June 3, 2004, the FSIS Western Laboratory reported a positive result for Listeria monocytogenes.
