Task Force on Animal Feeding (TFAF) will hold a public meeting to go over

Committee on Food Import and Export Certification and Inspection Systems (CCFICS)

Electronic Working Groups (eWG)
Committee on Food Hygiene (CCFH)
Parasites: The CCFH invites Member countries and observer organizations to join
an eWG, led by the European Union and New Zealand, working in English only, to further develop the
proposed draft Guidelines for Control of Specific Zoonotic Parasites: Trichinella spp. and
Cysticercus bovis, taking into account the discussions at the recent 44th Session of CCFH
and the development of OIE work on the revision of Chapter 8.13 of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code.
Individuals in the United States interested in contributing to the eWG should send their name,

Committee on Fish and Fish Products (CCFFP)
Food Additives: The CCFFP invites Member countries and observer organizations to
join an eWG, led by the European Union and the United States, working in English only, to prepare
proposals for food additives in the standards for fish and fishery products, following the approach
taken for the Standard for Smoked Fish and to focus on technological justification for those food
additives, with the possibility of proposing changes to the GSFA. Individuals in the United States
interested in contributing to the eWG should send their name, official title, and email address to
the U.S. Codex Office (USCodex@fsis.usda.gov).

Fish Sauce: The CCFFP invites Member countries and observer organizations to join
an eWG, led by Thailand and Vietnam, to help draft a Code of Practice for Processing Fish Sauce.

Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses
Nutrient Reference Values: The CCNFSDU invites Member countries and observer
organizations to join an eWG, led by Australia, working in English only, to recommend draft additional
or revised NRVs-R for vitamins A, D, E, C; magnesium, selenium, iron and zinc, as a requirement for
labelling purposes in the Codex Guidelines on Nutrition Labelling. Individuals in the United States
interested in contributing to the eWG should send their name, official title, and email address to
the U.S. Codex Office (USCodex@fsis.usda.gov).

Addition of Essential Nutrients to Foods: The CCNFSDU invites Member countries
and observer organizations to join an eWG, led by Canada and co-chaired by New Zealand, working in
English only, to revise the General Principles for the Addition of Essential Nutrients to Foods
(CAC/GL 9-1987). Individuals in the United States interested in contributing to the eWG should send
their name, official title, and email address to the U.S. Codex Office (USCodex@fsis.usda.gov).

provide the name(s), official title, and email address of their representative(s) directly to
