Policy Analysis Division
The Policy Analysis Division (PAD) develops and conducts sound and consistent economic analysis of preliminary, final and existing agency regulations and policies, identifying regulatory alternatives, economic and social impacts, and ascertaining consistency with agency policy.

Regulatory Impact Analyses
The FSIS Regulatory Impact Analyses (RIAs) can be found in the Executive Order 12866 and Regulatory Flexibility Act section of most Federal Register publications.
